Day at the Park

March 31, 2008

Last weekend I went to a local park to get some fresh air. I can’t wait till everything wakes up from its winter hiatus. Buds on Tree

One benefit to living so far out in the suburbs is it doesn’t take me very long to get to the “country”. Saturday was a gorgeous day so I decided to find a new subject for my photography. I got in my car and just started driving. The next thing I knew I had come across these gorgeous horses. They were very interested in me until they realized I didn’t have any tasty morsels to bribe them with.

Hawaiian Floral

I can’t go on a trip without capturing some of nature. I felt like a kid in a candy store with Hawaii’s tropical floral everywhere.

Now that I have a blog. I can share some pictures of my trip to Hawaii in February. We were there for the Pro Bowl and it was so much fun.

Let me preface this by saying yes I am that dork who will take a picture of a complete stranger just because I think something about them stands out. Good thing I have a decent zoom lens :)

Spring has Come for Some

One fabulous thing about my trip to Atlanta is Mother Nature had already woken up from the frozen and bleak winter. Although I’m starting to wonder if the Midwest is ever going to get warm permanently . There were freak snow flakes falling yesterday!

Last weekend I had the opportunity to visit Atlanta and see a friend. While we were there we not only braved two tornadoes (yes everyone is fine) but fortunately the enormous Georgia Aquarium wasn’t hit by the storms. We saw plenty of fish but my favorites were the jellyfish.

My First Post!

March 22, 2008

In honor of my first post I wanted to share this picture I took about a month ago at a local park. Although it was a gorgeous day I’m so thankful the weather is finally starting to warm up.
