This national cemetery overlooks the Pacific ocean. How fitting of a final resting place for those that have served to protect our rights.

When you have as gorgeous scenery as there is at Cabrillo National Monument you can’t help but snap away.

One of the main attractions at Cabrillo is the Old Point Loma Lighthouse. This lighthouse has been guiding sailors safely into bay since 1855.

I got some awesome shots from inside the lighthouse. This one is looking up at at the lens (and as close as they will let you get). The last one is a shot looking down at the spiral staircase.

The great thing about going somewhere consistently in 70 to 80 degrees is all the gorgeous flowers. These were all found at the Cabrillo National Monument

I had some extra time while I was waiting to be picked up from the airport so I started doing what I normally do when I have nothing else better to do – snap away!
Warning – I’ve got lots of new pics now to post over the next few days.

It’s interesting what you’ll find to photograph once you start looking
