I got to see Kim and McKenna again this week. I consider myself pretty lucky that I was able to love on McKenna twice in the last week and half. Unfortunately she never woke up enough to get some pictures of her eyes but that doesn’t make her any less adorable.

Race for the Cure was last Saturday. I went out there with some of my girlfriends and braved the other 22,000 people that were there. We had so much fun and if you haven’t gone then you should next year. Plus it’s for a great cause.

Seeing this woman there really touched me because she’s actively fighting against cancer. Cancer impacts so many and breast cancer in particular can be so vicious.
.

A lot of the racers wore “In Memory of ” or “In Celebration of” signs and it listed their loved one who has fought cancer.

I know absolutely nothing about this man except than he was waiting intently for someone at the finish line holding the rose.

Two Breast Cancer Survivors

Saturday night I went to the Royals game with some friends. We had a blast despite the Royals lost and there were a TON of twins fans there.

I had the opportunity to meet up with Jamie on Saturday. She is winning an award from her alma mater and needed some head shots. Despite the dreary weather we had an absolute blast and Jamie even up up for running through the fountain. Ok, maybe we had too much fun!

I thought this shot of Jamie was so hilarious that I had to include it.

I told you we may have had a little too much fun!

I know I’ve been horrible at updating lately. It’s been so hot out that I hadn’t taken very many pictures. My girlfriend Kim just had a baby and I had a chance to visit her yesterday. McKenna is adorable and she was only 3 days old! I had some challenges times trying to get pictures without using the flash – McKenna wasn’t having any of that.

I love this picture of McKenna!
