Have I mentioned that I love working with newborns? I would never have guessed that itty bitty Tessa was a month old, I seriously wanted to steal her and take her home! I’m sure her mom wouldn’t mind right?

March 16, 2010Are you ever at work and wonder if you can pay them because you enjoy your “job” so much? That’s how I feel when I’m taking pictures. I love the interaction with people and having the wonderful opportunity to capture those rare moments and record them for years to come. OK sorry for the tangent, sometimes I just can’t believe how blessed I am that my clients will open their lives to me so I can capture and share those precious moments.
Another thing I love? I love shooting newborns, their sweet smell, their innocence just EVERYTHING about holding teeny tiny babies makes me remember that there is good in the world and makes me so grateful I have the best job in the world. I had the awesome chance of meeting Emma and Eli a week after they came home from the hospital. They were born 8 weeks early and were already a month old but were so tiny at just over 4 pounds each.
I love how Eli keeps trying to push Emma out of the way in this one, sibling rivalry has already started.
I think these next two would look great hanging next to each other!
